Mainnet Transition - Already Joined Testnet

This guide is for users who have already joined the testnet and want to transition to mainnet.

Critical First Step

Before proceeding, copy and save your Blox account ID for future claiming of earned testnet tokens. You will need this for the claim process at https://claim-ui.fula.network.

Choose Your Path​

The transition process depends on your Blox's current connection status. Select the path that matches your situation:

Blox is connected​

Your FxBlox app shows your Blox as connected and working properly.

Pre-Transition Checklist​

Before starting your transition, ensure you have:

  • Saved your Blox account ID from the current app
  • Opened the web app at https://docs.fx.land/fxblox-web/ in Chrome or Edge — or, if you are staying on the legacy mobile app, updated it to version 2.0.1 or higher
  • Stable internet connection for your Blox device
  • MetaMask available (browser extension on desktop, app on Android)
  • 2+ hours of time available for the complete process

What to Expect​

The transition process will:

  1. Preserve your device setup - Your Blox hardware configuration remains the same
  2. Switch networks - Move from testnet to mainnet blockchain
  3. Reset reward tracking - Start fresh reward accumulation on mainnet
  4. Maintain your account - Your saved account ID allows testnet token claiming
Testnet Rewards

Your testnet rewards will be claimable separately through the claim portal. The mainnet transition starts fresh reward tracking.

Common Questions​

Q: Will I lose my testnet rewards? A: No, if you saved your Blox account ID, you can claim testnet rewards at https://claim-ui.fula.network

Q: Do I have to set my Blox up again to use the web app? A: No. Your identity comes from your password plus your wallet signature, exactly as on the phone. Sign in with the same password and the same wallet and your Blox is recognised straight away.

Q: How long does the transition take? A: The process takes 2-3 hours total, including waiting time for device updates.

Q: Can I go back to testnet? A: The transition to mainnet is intended to be permanent. Contact support if you need to revert.

Q: I only have an iPhone. What now? A: Use a computer — Windows, macOS or Linux with Chrome or Edge. The old apps were phone-only, but the web app runs on a desktop or laptop, so no phone is needed. See iPhone & iPad.
